For accountancy and bookkeeping practices
AI automation for accountancy and bookkeeping practices in Bristol and across the UK
Reduce document chasing, invoice rekeying and shared-inbox sorting. Founder-led automation for accountancy practices in Bristol and across the UK, with human review built in.
Where the admin builds up
Client documents arriving by email
Invoice details copied twice
Chasing missing records
An overloaded shared inbox
A small first workflow
For example, an incoming invoice can be saved, its details extracted and a register entry prepared for checking. BrisAI’s bookkeeper demonstration shows this with Outlook, OneDrive and Excel. Smart Inbox shows how email can be labelled while uncertain messages stay with a person. Connections to accounting software would be scoped and tested separately; these demonstrations do not establish a working Xero, QuickBooks or Sage integration.

Your questions
- How would client data be handled?
- We agree the data needed, permissions, providers and retention for the specific workflow before a build. Sensitive records and financial decisions need clear controls; a demonstration does not establish that a proposed deployment meets your practice’s requirements.
- What will it cost to run?
- Software and AI usage are paid through accounts you control. We estimate costs for the proposed configuration and volume, with vendor prices and usage assumptions stated in the proposal.
- What happens if it makes a mistake?
- We agree what can happen automatically and what must go to a person. The workflow is tested against agreed examples and acceptance criteria, with decisions and failures made visible. Financial approvals remain with your team.
- Who owns the system?
- Your workflow runs on accounts you control and is handed over with documentation. Ongoing care from BrisAI is optional, with its coverage agreed separately.
