What it does
Most AI websites expect you to already know what you need.
They offer agents, integrations and retrieval systems. You know that you spend too much time answering the same emails, or that your team wastes hours copying information between systems. The Snapshot starts from the second of those and works towards the first.
It asks about the work
Not which AI product you would like. How the business runs, where value is lost, and which of those problems are actually suited to automation. We diagnose first and name technology second.
It is honest about difficulty
Every opportunity comes with a complexity rating and a risk rating, not only an impact score. Something valuable and hard to build is described that way rather than sold as a quick win.
It will tell you to do nothing
If your answers do not describe much repetitive work, the results say so. A free assessment that recommends a project to everybody is a sales form, and this is not one.
The scoring is fixed, not improvised
The same answers always produce the same result. A language model helps write the explanation and reads anything you tell us in your own words, but it never decides a score or a ranking.
What it looks for
Fifteen things we know how to build.
Your answers are matched against a catalogue of systems with known shapes, known difficulties and known failure modes. A selection of them:
BRISAI-OPP-001
AI email triage
Incoming mail is read, classified, prioritised and routed before anyone opens the inbox.
BRISAI-OPP-003
Internal knowledge assistant
Staff ask a question in plain English and get an answer from the documents the business already holds.
BRISAI-OPP-004
Document processing
Documents are classified, the useful fields are extracted, and the data lands in the system that needs it.
BRISAI-OPP-005
Lead qualification
New enquiries are enriched, scored and routed, so the ones worth time surface immediately.
BRISAI-OPP-009
Reporting automation
Recurring reports assemble themselves, with the numbers checked and the changes explained.
BRISAI-OPP-010
AI receptionist
Calls answered, intent identified, common questions handled and appointments taken.
The assessment considers all 15 and reports the ones your answers actually support.
How it works
Four steps, and you keep whatever you learn.
01
Describe the work
About sixteen questions on how your business actually operates: what takes time, what repeats, and which systems you already use.
02
We match it
Your answers are scored against a catalogue of AI systems we know how to build, using fixed rules rather than a model improvising.
03
You get the findings
Two scores, your strongest opportunities in priority order, and an honest read on how difficult each would be.
04
Decide what is next
Take it away and act on it yourself, or talk it through with us. There is no obligation either way.
What you get
Where might AI help, answered properly.
The Snapshot is deliberately not the whole job. It tells you where to look. Deciding what to build, what it is worth and what happens first is a longer piece of work, and we would rather be clear about the line between them than blur it.

Questions
Before you start.
Is it really free?
Yes, and there is nothing to pay at the end of it. We built it because most businesses interested in AI do not know where it would help, and answering that well is the best demonstration of how we work.
Do I need to know anything technical?
No. Every question is about how your business operates — what takes time, what repeats, which software you use. Nothing asks you to know what a model or an integration is.
Do I have to give my email to see the results?
No. Your scores and your strongest opportunities appear on screen as soon as you finish. We ask for an email only if you want the full written report, which covers everything we identified rather than the top three.
How accurate is it?
It is indicative, and we say so on the results. It is a structured first pass over what you told us in seven minutes, not a validated analysis of your business. It is good at spotting where to look and deliberately cautious about promising what anything is worth.
Does an AI model decide my results?
No. The scores, the rankings and the recommendations come from fixed rules that produce the same answer every time. A model is used to write parts of the explanation in language specific to your business, and to interpret anything you write in your own words. It never sets a score.
What happens to my answers?
While you are answering, they stay in your browser. When your results appear, your answers and scores are sent to our workflow so that a model can write the explanation in language specific to your business — that request carries no name, email or business name, because you have not given them at that point. Your contact details are involved only if you ask us to email the full report. We do not sell any of it or pass it to anyone, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. The privacy page sets out exactly what is sent and how long it is kept.
16 questions. About seven minutes. No cost.
You will know more about where AI fits your business at the end of it than at the start, whether or not you ever speak to us.
