About

Practical automation, built in Bristol for businesses across the UK.

BrisAI helps small businesses reduce repetitive operational work. That can mean filing invoices from email, routing messages between teams, connecting records across existing software, or answering questions from an internal knowledge base.

The studio is deliberately small, so discovery, design and implementation stay closely connected. Every proposal makes the scope, human checks, ownership and ongoing running costs clear before a build begins.

AI is only one part of a dependable workflow. The surrounding checks, permissions, alerts and hand-offs matter just as much. BrisAI uses models for the interpretation they are good at and straightforward software rules where consistency matters more.

Who delivers the work

Founder-led, from discovery through handover.

Art Wieczorkowski

Founder & AI Automation Engineer

Art leads BrisAI’s discovery, architecture and implementation work. He has more than three years’ experience engineering AI-enabled solutions for industry projects and more than five years working with Python and machine learning. A master’s graduate of the University of Bristol, he combines that technical background with first-hand knowledge of Bristol’s business environment.

Four rules we do not break.

AI interprets, code controls

AI is used to read, classify, extract and summarise information. Clear software rules handle routing, permissions, thresholds and financial actions, so the parts that must be consistent do not depend on a model making the same judgement every time.

Validate before acting

Information produced by a model is checked for the right structure and acceptable values before another system uses it. Uncertain cases are held for review rather than forced through the workflow.

Design for failure

External services sometimes become unavailable. Work should wait safely, retry where appropriate, and make the problem visible rather than losing a record or leaving a process half-finished.

Keep an audit trail

Important steps record what was received, which version of the workflow handled it, what decision was made and what happened next. That makes problems traceable and improvements measurable.

How an engagement runs.

  1. 01

    Understand the work

The first conversation maps the process as it happens today: who is involved, which tools are used, where time is lost and which exceptions need judgement.

  2. 02

    A written proposal

The proposal sets out what will change, what stays manual, how risk is controlled, what the build costs and the expected monthly running cost.

  3. 03

    Built in stages

You see useful parts working early. Realistic examples, exceptions and unavailable services are checked before the workflow is considered ready.

  4. 04

    Yours

The workflow is documented and runs on accounts you control. Monitoring and maintenance are available, but the system does not depend on BrisAI to remain usable.
